Always magical, Kenny. I discovered you through the music of Zorn (as I have for most of the artists I love) and was fortunate enough to see you play at Firehouse 12. Now my buddy and I spend a lot of time "talking Kenny" as we share clips and tracks.

This trio is a totality, sum being greater. The camera catches your driving work so nicely. Motzer lays down a sort of bedrock of lamentation over which Reuter soars. Advanced as it gets technically, there is a minimalism somewhere-no wasted notes and the simplicity of instrumentation draws us into the layered soundscape. This work is new to me and I am glad there is more to come from this project. And thanks for coming to Big Ears here in Knoxville-it, too, was killer, oobe. At 75, you’ve pushed my jazz playing toward math influences!

Found out about you through John Zorn and your work in Insurrection. Had the CD for a couple of years now and showed my Pops yesterday and he kept asking me who the drummer was and why I haven’t searched for you (as I play drums too🤣). Just want to say how much I appreciate your musicianship and because of you and Zorn, my pops and I have bonded over your music. If you give lessons, would love to take one some day from you just to get better clarity on rudiments, stick control, and different practice techniques. Stay legend!
